The Finders Keepers Market - Top Picks
Over the weekend, The Candle Library was a part of The Finders Keepers market in Brisbane. Finders Keepers is a design market, featuring a whole bunch of amazingly talented independent makers from across Australia selling their wares at their stalls. It was our first time being a part of something like that; it was so inspiring to be surrounded by such creative, passionate people.
Not only was it great for us to meet our customers face to face; we also found some great goodies for ourselves! We’ve decided to share with you some of our favourite stall holders from the weekend. WHO: Bones Society
WHY WE LOVE THEM: It’s not secret we’re dog obsessed at The Candle Library, and Bones Society make the trendiest pet accessories for you to spoil your pooch. From denim bandanas to leather collars to trendy raglan tees, your pup will be the envy of all it’s furry friends at the dog park. PLUS, they donate 10% of every purchased to the Australian Animal Welfare League.

WHO: In The Daylight
WHY WE LOVE THEM: Illustrator Jess is super sweet and so are her illustrated products. Her collection of hand-drawn cards, gift tags & prints make the perfect gifts; but be warned – you may find it difficult to part with them! And we can’t say we’d blame you.

WHO: Terrariums by Bella
WHY WE LOVE THEM: Our succulent love affair reached new heights the minute we spotted Bella’s lush stall. Bella has created the most magical miniature landscapes using traditional bonkei Japanese techniques.

WHO: Nanna Woo Handmade
WHY WE LOVE THEM: Nanna Woo makes jewellery and homewares from Eco Resin, often capturing moss, flowers and metallic foil inside each piece. Nanna Woo were opposite our stall at Finders Keepers. A dangerous position, as I spent the entire weekend mentally shopping the entire range. I picked up a gorgeous grey resin plate with silver flecks through it that I know I’ll treasure forever.

WHO: Archer Designs
WHY WE LOVE THEM: Bondi based Archon Designs is a great unisex brand for your body, bath, home & pets. We love their simple packaging, and they had a great range of travel products as well. We visited them and fell for their stuff after receiving a tip-off from another stall holder that their Pet Hair Detangler + Deodoriser is the best on the market.
