Candle of the Week: Summer Breeze
It’s the first day of the last month of Summer – although we have to admit, we’re lucky in Byron Bay. It’s almost summer all year round. For those of you less fortunate, we highly recommend snapping up one of P.F. Candle Co.’s ‘Summer Breeze’. Somehow, the maker’s have managed to capture the essence of summer and bottle it up in an amber jar.
P.F. Candle Co. founder Kristen Pumphrey even goes so far as to say it is her enduring favourite scent from her range. It’s definitely up there in our list of favourite scents too, which is why it is our Candle Of The Week this week. Just like Kristen, we love a scent that has the ability to transport you to another time or place. Burning Summer Breeze, you could most certainly be on a remote tropical island.
The first notes that lure you in are tropical blooms; tuberose, orchid, awapuhi and gardenia. Summer Breeze has a heart of sandalwood and a base of a light, vanilla musk, which pairs perfectly with the essential oils of anise and lime.
